Getting Here

Littlehampton Museum is housed in the 18th century Manor House located on Church Street, close to the Town Centre and and High Street in Littlehampton. The Museum is an easy walk from the Train Station, Beach and High Street, makign it a perfect visit when paired with other attractions within the Town.

Littlehampton Museum is accessible by car, bus, cycle and train.

By Train

Littlehampton Railway station is a short 5 minute walk away from the Museum. With regular trains from London with an approximate travel time of 1hr40 minutes  as well as regular services from Brighton and Chichester the railway is a great option for visiting the Museum.

By Cycle

There are cycle racks located outside the entrance to the Museum, these are available on a first come first served basis.

By Bus

The 700 coastal bus route arrives at the Anchor Springs bus terminal, just 2 minutes walk from the museum.

By Car

Littlehampton is easily accessible by road via the A259 or A27, follow local signs for Littlehampton. Once within the town follow brown signs directing to the Museum and Town Council Offices. The Manor House car park sits alongside the Museum. This car park is run by Arun District Council and is a pay and display car park. 

Access Information

Entry to the museum is free for everyone. Donations are gratefully accepted and a small selection of gifts and souvenirs are available to purchase

All areas of Littlehampton Museum are accessible - the Museum is on the Ground Floor. There is also seating in the public spaces of the museum. Please note that the front entrance to the Museum is at the top of a moderate slope, accessible from the Manor House Car park or via 4 steps from Church Street.

If you are visiting for an event or talk in the Millennium Chamber a lift is available.

All assistance dogs are welcome.

There are hearing loops installed within the Reception area of the Museum. Magnifying glasses are available for use to assist with reading the texts and captions in exhibitions and displays, please ask any member of staff.

Unfortunately, there are no public toilets within the Museum but if you are concerned please speak to a member of staff during your visit or call for more information.

Parking is available in the Manor House pay and display car park - next door to the Museum. Disabled parking spaces are available within this car park, a short distance from the front door of the Museum.
