Littlehampton has a large collection of McGill postcards, along with some original copper printing plates, and original drawings and paintings by McGill himself (the latter donated to the Museum by Ronnie Barker, who once lived along South Terrace). McGill’s connection with the town, other than the obvious popularity of the postcards in any seaside town, was that for a time a Littlehampton based printer was producing the postcards which were distributed around the country.
